I have noticed that some Dakota's have pinstripes that run along the hood, door, and bed. Is this a special type of package or did Dodge decide to do this on random dakotas? I've noticed its always on a Sport also.

I had my pinstripes put on at a local body shop.
I just wanted to break up the color a bit.

my '00 QC Sport had them. They were peeling and flaking so i just finished the job. looks much better now. the only badging on my truck is the hood emblem and if it didn't involve body work, it would be outta there too.

My 01 cc 4x4 is an SLT+ in patriot blue and it came with white pinstripes. I don't recall that it was listed on the window sticker as an option at extra charge. I like the appearance and so far have had no peeling.

my '00 dak has them, it is a sport.
dont' think anything special about a certain option/package though.

The sticker in the glove compartment says whether or not pinstriping was applied or not. My tag shows my two tone colors and the pinstriping option.. To the best of my recollection it did not say it on my window sticker. Other than the glove box sticker it doesn't say it anywhere that I've found.
