Subject: Question IP: Logged
Message: I have a stock '04 Quad Cab and this morning I noticed that the "shock" that is mounted on the steering linkage is leaking. I was wondering if anyone knows what this "shock" is called and who makes a good replacement (ie. Edelbrock, Rancho) Thanks for the help.

Message: I didn't know 04's had steering dampers.
Are you sure it's not the rack & pinion unit?
Do 04's come with rack & pinion?

Message: any brand name that you recognize from national advertisement is good. if the name is only sold by one place in town and/or you never heard of it before run, do not walk to the exit.
