I have a stock '04 Quad Cab and the morning I noticed the the "shock" that is mounted on the steering linkage is leaking. I was wondering if anyone knows what this "shock" is called and who makes a good replacement one (ie Edelbrock, Rancho etc.) thanks for the help.

If it's an 04 it should be under warranty. Have the dealer fix it and let DC pay for it.

Its called a steering damper and I'm with DakAttack on this - why not let the dealer replace it ?
