Subject: Headlight problem on 00 Dakota
IP: Logged

Message:
I wrote in last week with this problem and I did receive an answer, but the problem is still there. The problem is that the right headlight is dim. I have replaced the bulb and have checked out all the grounds that I could find. Does anybody have any ideas? Could it be the headlight switch? Does anybody have a wiring diagram they could email me? It would help me a lot. Thanks all.

replace the socket that plugs into the light bulb, most times the thing is faulty and has "gone to ground" and the only way to fix it is to replace the plug. the last time I had to do it the plug was dealer only, but that was a generation ago.
