Subject: Instrument cluster IP: Logged
Message: While driving down the road in my 95 Dakota the instrument cluster either stops working or the guages go crazy and the needles start jumping around. I give the dash a good tap on the top and it goes back to normal for a while. Anyone ever dealt with this before? Also the dash lights were doing the same thing now they don't work at all except when it is raining out and then they only stay on for a few miles. Thanks for any help: Mark

Message: I had that problem a few months ago, it was the speed sensor on the trans. Its located on the drivers side of the trans, has 3 wires and is held in with a bolt, I think it cost about 15.00 at autozone.
