Subject: Throwin codes!!! IP: Logged
Message: Help, I have a 00 dak 2wd 4.7 that I have recently thrown some codes on. It only happens on my morning drive to work, and not on my way home or when I go to lunch. The codes are P0320 which happened on the first day and I cleared that thinking it was just a one time deal. The next day I threw a P0320 which led to a P0700 and a P0725, I know what all of these codes are and they seem to point to the crank position sensor. I recently installed a superchips power programmer and am wondering if this may have anything to do with it. I have seen on a lot of posts that the CPS goes bad on a lot of daks with as little mileage as I have (29,000) so I am wondering if this sounds like a CPS problem?? ANybody have any suggestions? Crappy thing is I just ended my lease and paid off the residual 4 days prior to all of this!!! Thanks a ton for any help!! -Joe-

Message: Have you removed the superchips programming back to stock to see if the codes go away?

Message: No, not yet, I wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen because of the programmer. I will try that though since it'll only take a few minutes!!
