I have a 95 SLT CC 4x4 with 3.9L V6 and I love it. I've owned mine since July of 1998 when I bought it with 39k miles and it now has almost 154k miles.
I can get you some pictures if you can't find someone with a 94.
for a long way, go to cardomain.com and search for dodge dakota's, the try to find a 94.

I had a '94 never had a problem with it, when i got rid of the truck it had 180k on it and it is still on the road.

I currently got a 94 SLT club cab 4x4 Dakota with over 200K miles on it.. Tell you what, just click on the 200,000 mile thread and then read what I typed (repairs ect) also mine starting to leak like a sob..

I get between 17.5 and 25 depending on driving conditions (city, combined, highway) and speed.
I can take some pictures tonight.

I had a '96 (318) and got about 16.5.. 4x4 with 3:92 gears.

What type of Dakota are you looking for? V8 or V6?
You might as well get a 95 V8 Dakota.. Because there Automatic was improved for that year.. Insid of using a 46RH it was a 44RE transmission.
