Subject: First repair on my 05 IP: Logged
Message: Short circuit in the wiring harness in the steering wheel. The airbag light burned continuously and the cruise control wouldn't function. Happened at about 3K - repaired under warranty.
Otherwise, so far so good. I put some Yokohama Geolander 265x70x16 tires on it, rides nice now and goes happily offroad.

Message: Got my 05 QC going in for warranty work this weekend. Finally rode in the passenger seat and noticed that the power window switch isn't sitting correctly into the armrest (trivial problem).
Also, I'm experiencing a problem with the rear brakes. Whenever I have any sort of load on it - a passenger, some weight in the bed, or going down a hill - and I brake, I get some bad brake jerking. Almost like the brakes weren't installed properly.. it gets sort of hoppy / jerky on the braking.

Message: Had the Dak looked at by the dealer on Saturday. Unfortunately, he couldn't find anything wrong with it. In their defense, I couldn't get the jerking to happen on the way to the dealer, or on the way back home. They pulled the tires off and had a visiual look at everything, but found nothing wrong.
/shrug.. Guess I'll have to wait and see if I can come up with some better detail on how to make it happen since it doesn't happen all the time.
