198x-1991 - Gen I
1992-1996 - Gen II
1997-2004 - Gen III
2005+ - Gen IV
Some people consider 198x-1996 as Gen I but the magnum engine change in 1992 is to big a difference for me to consider them the same generation.
I forget what year production started, either 87 or 88.

I've seen '91's considered part of the 2nd generation since the V8 and longer nose came along then (despite not having "Magnum" engines till the next year.)

i would also consider a 91 gen II due to the body modifications.
