 Subject: EVS II Plus Security System any good?

Hi. I am going to buy a 2000 Dak from my pops to replace my 98 that got totalled -:(-, anyways, It needs an alarm so my insurance stays down. It has keyless entry already, so I see one option is to get the EVS II Plus and plug it in. Is this setup any good or am I better off having some aftermarket alarm installed?

The EVS II doesn't just plug in. You have to do some cutting on your harnesses.
It's alright for a basic alarm and it works with the factory RKE. A little pricey but it works. I have it instaled in 2 Dodge vehicles.

I use the Crime Guard top of the line model with the Echo paging system. Works great, very very expandable. They sell them at Crutchfield.com
