Does any one know where I can get a drop in bed lines for my 96 short bed? I have looked at all of the truck websites and no one has one for that year.

If you've looked and nobody sells one, hat to say it but you probably can't find one.
I'd go spray in anyway, like LineX or Rhino. The drop in's just wreck your bed. The bed on my 01 looks like it's been resting beside the Titanic.

i have one that was in a 95 dakota,
in fact its sitting out behind the house still in the truck, but the 5.2 in it is ALL MINE
but that doesnt solve your problem unless your in WI

Depends on where you live in WI and how much you want for it. 16 miles a gallon at 2.09 can up pretty fast.
