I'm looking at purchasing either a 97 or 98 Dakota. I'm wanting to know if there is a way to deactivate the passenger side airbag in them to allow young children as passengers. Anyone know? THANKS for the help!

My 98 has a switch that can disable it with the key.

Quad cab trucks will not have this as there is a rear seat and it is required that smal children and baby seats stay in the back.
All reg cab and club cab trucks you'll find will have the key activated switch.
