 Subject: O/D lockout

as I was driving down the highway, I raised my foot off of the gas pedal to slow down before hitting the brake and noticed it felt weird. Turns out my O/D was locked out. I know I didn't hit it, and there is no way I could have hit it accidently.
I'm thinking electrical issue. Anyone have this happen before?

When this problem occures (no overdrive),see if your cruise control works. Maybe the speed sensor as it controlls both things.

Had the same thing happen to my 2001 QC.
The dealer fixed it under warranty.
As I recall it was some sort of faulty module that needed replacing.
If you really want I can dig out the old work-order.

No need to do that yet but thanks for the offer. It's only happened the one time yet. If it happens again then i'll consider it more of an issue.
