 Subject: dents in hood

got a 2004 dakota... about 6 weeks after i got the truck it over time started developing dents (3) triangle configuration in the corners of the hood in the hinge location. first drivers side then pass side. hood was replaced. about 2 months ago it started again on the drivers side. DODGE SAID THEY DONT HAVE A PROBLEM. anyone out there have this problem?

My dad has a 95 Ram 1500 and soon after he got it new he noticed dints on the hood, I got my 99 Dakota and it has dints in the same spot. It's a problem with the hinges, we've just lived with it.

this is an area that is over the hinges but the hinge is much longer and has only 2 bolts per side. there is sub structure between the hinge mounts and the outer painted skin. This structure is attatched to the finish skin with spot welds. This is the problem
