Message: Hello All, Have a quick question about the Moog ball joints and hopefully someone has purchased them for a 2000 Dakota or Newer. Seems to me that the ball joints on the 97-99 are the same for the newer ones just by eye. Although there are different part #'s for each. Just assuming that the 2000 or newer come with the whole control arm together by searching random internet sites. Hoping that someone here can clear this up for me.
97-99 -> 7241, 7242
00-?? -> 7392, 7393
My second question going to Energy Suspension and Moog bushings as my control arm bushing are looking pretty bad, the rubber is cracking and peeling off so might as well do them the same time. Does anyone know the difference in the materials used on these Moog bushings (whether they are poly or rubber)?
By the way I own a 2000 Dakota 2wd. Can someone please clear this up.
Thanks
