Message: Whatever you do don't get brake rotors from www.irotors.com. I put these drilled/slotted rotors on in December and they cracked before May.
And not just small hair line cracks.
They give you a 30 day warranty, but that's not enough time to see if a product will last. High performance rotors that don't last 6mths and i don't even race.

Message: I will never understand the need for drilled and slotted rotors on
anything other than a true race car in a race where it actually
benefits the vehicle. Joe Average doesn't need this. There's a
reason they don't come on factory cars, it's overkill.

Message: The percieved need is to aid in cooling by allowing more air to flow through the rotor and to help deminish brake fade by venting hot gasses from the interface of the pad and rotor.
Unless the application has been properly engineered, it's a waste of money. That includes SS/T brake lines, 4 or 6 piston full floating calipers, floating rotors, proper ducting for air venting and a much, much larger master cylinder.
Most companies selling drilled rotors buy the cheapest crap from China they can find and go nuts with a CNC mill and end up with a rotor that is not only piss poor from the get go but down right dangerous after they finish with it.
If you need to play RickyRoadRacer buy a set of slotted rotors.

Message: Don't get me wrong, sorry you got ripped off. One more lousy company to put on our blacklists out here in Dakota land. I understand the purpose of these things, I just think the money would be better spent on something else.

That should have been your first clue.

Message: not typical, I've had Irotors on my R/T for almost a year, and I drive like a bat outta hell, and haven't had any cracks, hot spots, any issues... first, lemme ask, what type of pads did you use? I matched the rotors to EBC greenstuff pads, haven't had any issues at all... secondly, new Covettes, Porsches, and others COME STOCK with crossdrilled and slotted rotors... finally, it comes to how you drive, for what kind of brakes you need. if stock flat rotors don't work then find a type that will, and remember sometimes its not the part, but the person behind the wheel!
