Message: Does anybody else have a problem with the windshield washers only working half the time ? I dont think the fluid is freezing.I tried several brands of winter washer fluid which were good to 40 below. When it stops working I can still hear the washer pump motor running, but it doesnt spray onto the windshield. Any ideas ??

Message: Stew-I definately have that problem but the pump still hums when mine stops working. They start and stop working for no apparent reason.they both quit at the same time.It seems to happen on the highway in super cold temps, but I like you have -40 washer fluid and I have tried different brands.

Message: Thanks Russ, I thought I was the only one. I took the line off at the pump and tried to blow out the line by mouth - nothing. Then I tried compressed air in the line - that blew out fluid out of the nozzles, but I didnt see any ice come out. Then I tried blowing through the line by mouth again - no way. Hooked the line back up and it worked . Still only works when it wants to. Very annoying!! Do you suppose there is a piece of plastic or dirt in the line somewhere? Im lost and open to suggestions.
