How would you clean these to restore the original clean and clear headlamp?

silver/metal polish and a emory cloth, will get most of it... or you could just replace them. most places (Including ebay) have diamond cut clear HL for around 100 for the pair.... once you decide which to do, invest in a set of headlight covers, ya know, the smoked type? well, the same company sells a Clear style, that simply protect your HL and turn signals from doing that... it basically prevents all the stuff from hitting them, and keeps them from turning yellow. they're around $40.

Alright, so now I have shiney yellow headlights... any other bright ideas??

Guess I'll just have to replace them. The strange thing is that the corners are still perfectly clear, but the headlamp is yellow... wtvr.

It's the way the plastic reacts with UV rays. Next time you're in a mall parking lot, look at the security lights on the walls. You'll see how yellow they are (unless they're brand new). That's basically the same thing your lights are made of - polycarbonate. The only thing you can do is replace them.

There are a few ads to restore yellowed lenses. Anyone have experience with these?

Can you cut back to good poly and polish them back to life?
