Message: The power lock on my 2002 Durango Hatch has quit--any idea what the problem is before I pull things apart??? Other power locks are working fine. Guess I won't have this problem with my 2002 Dakota. Thanks for your help, Fishful Thinking

My 2000 QC; Driver's side power door lock latch expired about 1 month after my warranty did. Passenger side died about 3 months later. Driver's side rear is now NFG. These are annoying as hell when they fail and cost $100 a piece in my neck of the woods.
Hope you have better luck with your vehicles.

Message: Pull the interior panel off and see if the electrical connector to the lock came loose. Ive had several electrical connectors come loose on my 98 Durango. Apparently the little plastic slide locks to keep that from happening dont really work too well.
