Subject: 04 odometers do not match IP: Logged
Message: I switched to 33 inch tire from the factory 31 inch tires. I had the dealer adjust the pinion ratio to match the tires. But now the trip odometer on the dash and the one on the overhead console do not match up. Any Ideas how to synch them up?

Message: Talk to the dealer... they prolly have something that can do it. Sounds pretty simple so it shouldn't cost too much either.

Message: I talked to the dealer awhile back and the guy I talked to did not really have a clue. All he could come up with was that the rotations per mile number I gave them for the pinion ratio reset was off a bit. Well this makes no sense to me. I would think both odometers would run off the same sensor so as to be always in synch. He could offer no better ideas. So here I sit....ask you guys for better info. Any techs. out there?

Message: Hey road dog did your 04 come with stock 16" rims. And if so I've found out that tires that fit 16"s don't use that type of measurements. ie 31's, 32's and 33's. Does anybody know anything about this or have a conversion chart? So all this cr#p would make some sence to me.
Sorry for off topic

Message: My truck did come w/ 16" rims. Super Swampers are the only ones I've seen that use the "inch" measurement system for their 16" tires. So mine are 33x12.50x16 Super Swamper TruXus STS tires. Hope that helps.

Message: Why yes it does thank you.
Do you have that much rubbing or do you have a suspension lift that would ease the rubbing?? I figured a body lift wouldn't help with the rubbing. I've looked to see were my neighbors kota rubs and its on the frame.

Message: The only rubbing I seem to get is at the rear of the front wheel well and only if the wheel is turned just right when I go over an off camber piece of ground.
