hey, I have an 01 R/T, and was wondering if anyone knew off hand the backspacing for the stock R/T rims, and for the 92-96 viper 17's.... I just bought a set of viper rims, that I want to install, the fronts are 17X10, the rears are 17X13... I'm just wondering what all will be needed to get em into place... I'vebeen made aware that I may end up having to relocate my rear springs, to get those 13 inch wide tires in there... anythoughts/? for backspacing, anyone know if I could get away with spacers?

i had a set of 17x10 and 17x13
you'll either have to relocate, change to a ladderbar/4-link or get some spacers if you want to use the 13's.
i measured mine and i remember the 13's had 10" of backspacing but i am not sure what the 10's had.

cool thanks... for now I think I'll opt for the spacers... now that I have an idea of backspace, I can start to shop for the spacers!! thanks

I'm pretty sure the stock backspacing on the R/T wheels is 6 inches.

maybe, lemme get the viper rims first, I want to see how they look on the truck first... plus the rear size tire is becoming evident to be hard to find.... anyone know a tire in a 335/50 17??? the closest I can find is 335/35 thats too low profile for a dak, and the load range is too low too.
