I know nothing about Dodge trucks. Can anyone tell me what kind of life expectancy it has. I have an opportunity to buy a 2001, great cosmetic condition, for $5000 but it has $165k miles on it. Any thoughts?

I have a 92 Dakota, 318 with 194k miles on it. Still runs well, but it needs some suspension work and fresh seals.

i paid 3900(before tax title license) for my 93 dakota 318 cc 4x4 auto. it has 119 on it and damn near mint. i think you should wait and find something cheaper. those miles are nothing to be afraid of on this truck, but the price is a little high.
