Subject: Windshield wipers, Seat spring, and HPP3 IP: Logged
Message: Okay, so it's an interesting combination in the heading... lol. These are just three things that I need help with right now.
1.) When removing my windshield wipers to restore the missing\chipping paint on the arms, I ran into one that was corroded so badly I had to use a pry bar to remove. In the process, I caused the arm to rotate accidentally. Now, my left wiper (facing the front of the truck) will actually cover the ENTIRE windshield all by itself. Did I somehow strip something that should be stopping the wiper at the appropriate half-way point? I need advice on this.
2.) While driving in my dak, after a few minutes I feel a funny pop in the driver seat accompanied by the sound of a spring giving way... Can't think of a better way to describe it. I found a nice size loose spring sitting on the carpet beneath the seat and can only assume it is the source of the problem. How would I replace this spring?
3.) I have a hypertech power programmer III that refuses to program claiming I did not take the original vehicle back to stock (vehicle mismatch). Is there any possible way to reset these programmers so that they do not care what vehicle you are programming? I DID NOT STEAL this programmer, I bought it and used it for a long time.
