does the factory console, between the seats from a durango fit the dakota? I'm wanting to add one, dodge dealership doesn't know, at least thats what my parts counter told me, just wondering if anyones tried this, and how it worked out.

between the seats... the flip up style is an armrest for the bench seat.. thats not a console. for clarity, the one that rests on the floor, and is about three feet long, made of plastic. I have a bench seat, and am removing them to install Viper seats. I have done a little research, and the bases seem to have a different part number, though I don't know if that means anything significant. i dunno, maybe the tunnel is a different shape, just trying to see if it will mount, as the overall appearance is pretty close to each other.

you will have absolutely zero problems mounting the console between viper seats. many have done it

whether it be from a dak or a durango? I guess I'll try it out, I've got two options, a dak for $120 salvage, or a new one from a durango for 135.
