Eh, I'm a fan of the idea. Actually, just get suicide all the way around, and a lift that is rediculous....i mean so high that you need a rope ladder or some ish.

I think that would be a unique look for a raised dak - kind of cool having the doors go "up" on a large truck.
I believe its not new doors you buy but "hinges" - You need a good body shop to do the mods...I think I've seen the kits on autoloc.com (or do a yahoo search for the hinges)

Lambo Doors hinges are easy, very easy to install. Suicide on the other hand is a hastle.

on a raised dak? hmmm.. you'd have issues closeing them once you got out, unless you atach a rope or sumthin. I've looked into it, for mine, just for the unique look... it can get pretty expensive, just do a google or other search engine for "dakota lambo doors" you should come up with something. most kits are new hinges and a pressurized cylider, like what holds up the hoods or tail doors on some vehicles, but way bigger and stronger. My only concern (what pushed me away from it) is how do you go about getting replacement parts, say, five years from now, if the company goes under?

guess it would be a good idea to keep the stock hinges if i did do it and put those back on if something broke and you couldn't get parts
