Since other people were sharing stories, I thought I would share one too.

I helped my girlfriend move this past winter and she just recently purchased a queen sized bed. Well, it was icy and windy that January day, and of course a queen sized bed doesnt fit flat in the Dak - so it went in angled. I was too cold to tie it down....

We were driving down a 4 lane road at about 45 mph when a gust of wind picked the mattress up and sent it over one lane of traffic (10' in the air) and it landed in the snow covered median.... I watched the whole thing through the rearview mirror....

What to do? We stopped, ran back to the mattress, put it in the truck and kept driving.

Needless to say, I got in trouble for that one.

Gives new meaning to having to "sleep in the wet spot."
