Does anyone know of good software to diagnose and tweak my 2001 Dakota?.. . or for cars in general? i have a laptop..and wanna do some tweaking... any ideas or suggestions would be great...

You "wish " it was that simple !!!
You need a dynamometer , an exhaust gas analyzer
vacuum / air fuel meters etc..
In other terms = about $ 100,000.00 worth
of instrumentation..
