well lately ive been wanting and looking for a 4.7 cc 2wd manual dakota. havent found one yet but if i bought one, i would have to get rid of the dakota i have now. its a black 98 cc slt 4x4 with a 5.2. the only thing wrong with it is that its got faded paint on the hood and roof. on kbb.com, it lists for about 8,500 with bad paint and about 9,200 if i got the paint fixed. its got about 73,000 miles on it and all the maintenance has been done till 100,000 miles(except oil changes). also the tranny was just rebuilt and new bfg ats were put on. would asking 10,000 be a little too much? how about if i got the paint fixed? i figure that since all the maintenance was taken care of, which is like 500-600 worth of work, plus the tranny was done (2000-3000) so u wouldnt have to worry about that, and the tires (400-500), 10,000 mite be reasonable. i also got a flowmaster muffler on it but that doesnt really raise the value. wut do you guys think???

Go to Edmunds.com and use their TMV (True Market Value) calculator and you'll see what people are actually paying, rather than what kbb thinks it's worth. Besides, edmunds has more of the available options to select for a real value..
