 Subject: Check engine light

Light came on today with a P 0551 code. Power steering pressure sensor? Should I be concerned? or should I just reset it? How do I go about resetting? Pull neg. cable and hold at start for 30 sec?? Not sure.

yeah, clear the code, and if it activates again, then start to get concerned over your PS pump not functioning properly... if you shred it, you'll also damagethe rack too... then you'll have to replace the pump, hoses, and rack... I went throughthis with a 94 Mustang.
