 Subject: Muffler

Ok I noticed my 04 QC was leaking water from the rear of the muffler. I found a small hole on the bottom of the rear side about the size of a 1/16 drill bit. Did DC build a drain hole into their mufflers or is this a defect? The rest of the can looks good no rust or dents.

Yep,thats what it is. They put a small hole in there to let out condensation to keep it from rusting out. No worries.

Sorta figured that's what it was. I got curious when i noticed some soot marks around the hole.
