Dak Ownerq,
Thanks for the websites related to Nissan problems BUT I also noticed all the other car makes there that also have problems.
In other words, *every* car/truck make has good vehicles as well as their share of problems.
I never said the Nissan was problem free. I only said that the Nissan offered more than the Dak for the same dollars, especially with safety items i.e. 4 wheel antilock brakes, vehicle stability control, 4 wheel traction control.
Also, I have no intention or need of towing anything so, whether it is the Dak or the Nissan, towing capibility was not a factor for me to consider.
Anyway, for the record, the Nissan has 265 hp @ 5600 and 284 lbft @ 4000. The Dak has 230 hp @ 4400 and 290 lbft @ 3600. The 'high output' was not considered since I wanted a standard shift.

Dan M,
The last time I checked mileage, I was getting about 21 - 22. Granted, the majority of my driving (90-95%) is on the highway in 6th gear overdrive. So, it may vary for someone else.
