Anybody know how to remove the interior light covers in a 2001 CC. It's not in the service manual, and a friend of mine can paint the bulbs to give a blacklight effect (which looked very cool in my old jimmey)

I managed the "dome" lens, but I'm baffled by the overhead console lights.

On the dome light, you just push the rear side of the lens forward with a butter knife, and it falls right out.

I've tried the front lights, but no go.... it definately feels like something's gonna break.

I hope the bulbs never burn out. Funny how there's nothing mentioned in the manual.

There was just a post on this a few weeks back.. It had a picture and everything.. Keep looking back further.

There is a screw that needs to be removed first from the front (where the stupid clippy is-or computer) then just pull firmly to 'pop' the whole console out.

Correct me if I am wrong anyone...

i wanted to know if you guys had the bulb numbers for the dome lens and then for the overhead ones in the front. this would be a big help so i dont have to take them off and then put em back on before i get the new ones.
