Subject: Need Help 4 elect? PCM? stalling problem
IP: Logged

Message:
Started stalling 6 months ago always underway at any speed every couple of weeks, now up to once - 2x a week. At first would start right back up. Taking progressively longer to restart after stalling. Replaced standard tune-up parts, relays, battery, splice under fuse box, etc. No error codes except 12 & 55. When I’m sitting waiting for it start again noticed putting the ignition into on position (not start) no check engine light or seat belt light either. Until I get the check engine and the seat belt light back she’s not going to start. All other electrical seem to work fine. Talked to the Dodge dealer service dept. today and even they aren’t thrilled about me bringing it in. They think it might be fuel pump but it is kind of hard to verify by myself. And I don’t know why that would affect the check engine/seat belt lamp. Electrical specialist also said he doubted it was the PCM. Today at one time the seat belt lamp came on but no check engine light so it didn’t start, next cycle of key got neither one. While I was on the phone to AAA for a tow they both finally lit up so went to start position and she started. What is going on here?!?

I’m open to any and all suggestions. ’93 4x4 3.9L Auto CC w/103K mi.
