 Subject: Locating that neutral safety switch

I am trying to locate & replace a faulty neutral safety switch. Looking at my trans I see three electronic sender units in it. They are located @:
1. the speedo cable (2 prong)
2. near shifting linkage (male threaded in trans housing, 3 prong)
3. near shifting linkage (fasten to trans internally?? protruding upward, 3 prong)
The truck will not start in park but will start in the neutral position.
By unplugging the wiring & trying to start the engine I narrowed it down to sender unit #2.
Is this the right sender unit/switch?? I could not locate one on the column…
