Ok, so survivor has lost its original glimmer. Most have become disenchanted with reality TV. WELL not anymore!!! Tell what you think of this...

6 people are taken to an island, each is given one weapon of their choice. They are given a day to survey the island and establish a sort of strategy. The last man\woman alive wins!

Now I know a lot of you are thinking "that's brutal, wrong, unethical, politcally incorrect, etc. etc." And it is, BUT, you would probably watch it if it was on TV :)... SO there is some serious potential here. Only problem, it could never be aired in America on public television. NP, we could put it on cable and make it pay per view! and just to make it all legit, every contestant MUST meet ONE qualification: He must be currently sitting on death row. Of course, the winner would have to be granted freedom from death row:) I mean, face it, they're gonna die anyway so it's not reeeeally wrong... hahaha.

So what do you think?

Sounds cool...but we need to throw in a twist from some one the other reality tv shows...um...Joe Millionaire comes to mind.

After the last man/woman starts cheering about how they're free again, that's when you send in a couple government agents from the FBI that say, "Actually, you've just been tricked into believing you're going to go free. You're really going right back to prison. SMILE! YOU'RE ON CANDID CAMERA!"

...or something along those lines.

APRIL FOOLS!

Now, instead of having to appeal the just the original conviction that put you in prison, you get to be put on trial for 5 video-taped premeditated serial killings. 6 death sentances for the price of ONE! Your pro-bono lawyer will have a field day! With all that proof, I'm sure Texas will put you in the express lane for the electric chair for that.

Texas doesn't use electricity. They wimped out some time ago and now use drugs to kill the condemned.

Besides, the winner doesn't necessarily need to kill the other five contestants. He or she just has to outlive the others and only needs to kill the runner up.

Just a thought...

Are there any midgets on death row?

If so, a midget on this show would be AWESOME for ratings.

What about a blind man who was a copycat "DC Sniper?"

I like this thread...not Dakota related, but funny as hell nonetheless.
