Message: According to haynes, there are 3 things to check.
inspect the power window actuating switches for broken wires and loose connectors
check the power window fuse/and or circuit breaker
remove the door panel(s) and check the power window motor wires to see if they're loose or damaged. Inspect the glass mechanisms for damage which could cause binding.
Best I have for you, good luck.

Message: Just a suggestion, but my neighbor says he has to clean his 97 durango's window switch (all 4) about twice a year. its not a bad switch, just dirty connections.
this might save you some money...
i need to do that, too. thats how we (my neighbor and me) got to talking about it. wouldn't roll back up on a balmy 15 degree morning... ugh...

Message: The first time this happened cleaning the switch worked. Amazing how much crap gets done there through the panel. Then another time I had the switch go bad. I think I cracked it the first time I took it out and vibrations finally did it in.
