Well, I am reluctantly putting my pride and joy, up for sale. My wife and I have a new baby, and the family isn't going to fit in the old truck any longer. I'm going to buy a 2004 SRT4, but need to sell the Dakota before the end of the month, to take advantage of a low rate from my credit union. My loss, is your gain, on this deal. I bought this truck 18 monthes ago. It was bone stock with 45,000 miles. The truck now has 59,000 miles. I would not be selling this truck, if I didn't need room for the family... Here is a run down on the truck:
2000 Dakota 5.9 R/T, Regular cab, Firemist
ceramic coated PPH headers, Flowmaster 40's
Intense Performance Air Intake, Hughes Performance 52 mm billet throttle body, Hughes Performance stage 2 intake manifold.
Jet, Stage II, PCM upgrade and 180 degree thermo, IAT relocated,
MSD 6A, 8mm wires, Autolite spark plugs, 1 range colder than stock, all the freedbie mods, professionally installed 2400 RPM Mopar conv, Trans-go shift kit, New bands, Moroso transmission cooler, frenched in behind the radiator support, and vented underneath.
I want $12,500, but I will entertain offers, as time is of the essence! I bought the truck for $13,5K, and put $3,500 in parts and modifications into it, including the transmission build up. The transmission build up was such a huge improvement over stock, especially with the shift kit. You may e-mail or i-page me at the below address.
