I just tried to install my clear turn signals on my 2003 dodge dakota and theres a space on each side at the ends. They do not fit like the factory ones did. Is this correct or is something wrong. if anyone knows please let me know.

what kind did you buy? no offense, but maybe their just cheap. there's only one way to install them, at the two torx screws, and the only adjustment is at the whole headlight assembly... are those aimed right? I;ve seen really nice sets and really poor sets, so maybe the manufacturer cut corners ( no pun intended!) in setting them up, hence, thats why I'd say they might be cheap... compare to others sets you see, and even to your originals to see how they measure to each other.

There was a change in the design of the socket openings in a certain model year of Dakota that I can't quite recall right now, meaning if you buy the wrong set you're gonna need to splice in a different wiring harness for that one bulb to make it fit right. Normally the harness is included with the set in that case. If not you got gyped. I think I got one with mine and I didn't even need it.

I got my turn signals to fit great. what happened is that the plastic pointing thing at the top of the light wasn't goin in the slot all the way... After a few hard pushes it finally went in...
