Since this was almost a year and a half ago I assume there has already been a solution. However, an easy fix is 52-1031 B&I Trim Diamond Tread 7-1/2" Rocker Panels available from Cabela's for about eighty bucks. Chrome bonded to Vinyl that can be cut with sissors to make the job easy. Durable stuff too !
