Subject: reverse light prob. IP: Logged
Message: last week i bought an adapter to hook to the factory taillight connections for towing a small trailer i have. all you do is unsnap the harnesses that give the taillight power, put this in-between, and it'll plug into the trailer harness for it's lights. it was a small kit, about $26 at walmart. it worked fine until i unhooked it to store it away. i plugged the factory harness back in like they were before i got it and now i still haven't got reverse lights. the brake lights work fine, but no reverse. like i said, i plugged all back the way it was and before i got this i had reverse lights, but not anymore. any ideas? i don't see how it could've messed with anything, but you never know. thanks for any advice.

Check your fuse for the backup lights that is probably blown. Also go back to your adapter cut the ground wire from the adapter where it goes to the harness plug, put a wire lug on it and bolt it to the frame.
