Depending on which parts you use, your costs will vary. I tried to go cheap with a 2/2 at first, but ended up with a 4/5 for better looks.
I have spent close to $800 so far and owe a lotta BEER to my buddies. You'll need new shocks no matter what, so don't overlook them. I went with lowered front coils and lower A arms in the front and lower spring hangers and shackle mounts in the rear. Cheapest way, but now it rides SH1TTY!
I would go to Hotchkis.com and get there rear leaf springs and front coils and go to SportTruckDirect.com and get their lower A arms and all shocks. Dont forget to get ball joints for the A arms.
Its a lotta work to do by yourself, but you learn A LOT about your truck.
