I am planning on getting new gears for my truck and wanted to know if anybody in the Akron/Canton/Cleveland Ohio area could recommend a reputable shop to do the work? It's tough to find a shop you can trust now-a-days.

Thanks,
Brian

I can't help you out with akron, but I found a good shop here in the Atlanta area via Jasper Engines. Might be worth a shot for you to check. This place is listed on jasper's website as a preferred installer. I had some issues with my truck and was told by one shop that they didn't know what was wrong, but might as well just get a new engine. This after being told by 2 shops that they couldn't find any issues. I had that jasper engines shop check it out for me (they did it for free after about a 30 minute discussion with the owner on the phone explaining situation), they are very knowledgeable, friendly , always try to save me money and do great work. And they told me i didn't need a new engine :D

I've been going to them for everything I don't do myself since.

Cool...thanks for the recommendation. I'll check them out to see if they are local.
