The shocks they carry are made by Gabriel. I have a set of the RMX Monotubes on my 2000 QC AWD, and like them. Much better ride than the original OEM shocks. They also took care of the rear wheel hop I was experiencing when going over bumps during cornering. I bought them from Les Schwab and installed them myself. I believe the RMX Monotube shock is the same as the Maxcontrol Monotube shock sold under the Gabriel name.

I did a search on shocks and found about 2,510 from dodgedakotas.com for shocks. theres your clue. get one!
