Subject: HELP duct tape on my girl friends car!!
IP: Logged

Message:
My girlfriend knocked off her driver side mirror and her uncle decided to apoxy it on which is great but then he used DUCT TAPE to hold it on while the apoxy dried. He applied the duct tape on the plastic mirror as well as the paint. What kind of cleaner can I get to get all this nasty residue off of her mustang? Admittedly, duct tape is not too hot on a stang... but she somehow has left it on there for 2 months and now i'm trying to get it off. Any advice is appreciated!

I think MEK would be a bit strong in this case.
It might dissolve the plastic.
