Message: Ok,
I know this isnt really a audio forum. But, its in a dakota at least, and I cant find any help forums anywhere else...
I have 2 two channel amplifiers that can hold up to 2.67 ohm , I have 3 subwoofers that are wired in Series/Parallel that breaks all three on 1 amp down to 2.67 ohm... There wouldnt happen to be a way to rig 2 into the system and acheive 2.67 ohm?
Without using just one channel in each amp... I tryed this and almost destroyed both amplifiers

Message: Nic, I do not think there is any way to link Amps without destroying them. You can look into it further, but I think you will be stuck with one.

Message: Yeah, there's no way to wire in 3 subs to 2 amps unless of course you ran one sub bridged on one amp, and the other two in stereo mode. Or had some dual V.C. subs. But good luck getting them all at even levels.
2.67 is wierd for an amps load rating.
Usually a sub is either 2, 4, or 8 ohms.
Most amps are rated 2 ohm stereo, meaning a 2 ohm sub can be hooked up to each channel or one 4 ohm sub hooked up bridged. Bigger amps can be 2 ohm bridged. Some even down to 1 ohm, but were talking BIG f**kers now.
