I reprogrammed my key FOB because the battery died, and now the range is limited to just outside my truck. Did the same thing for my other one, same problem. Any ideas?

FOB battery died, car battery is new. I just can't figure out why the range would drop like that just because of reprogramming

Check this out - drove the truck about 4 diff times last night, and the last time I tried the keyless the range was back to normal. Maybe you have to start the truck a certain amount of times? Anyway, I'm sure that's a typical thing if any of u have to replace the batteries in your remote. Good luck and thanks for the tips!

Have a 04 dakota with factory keyless entry which inc pwr win & locks) All works great. Wanted to add Mopar EVS II Security Plus System. Dealer said they had some weird problems with the dealer installed system but other dealers said no problem. Anyone else run in to this? Thanks!
