I wish I had my camera next to me on the way home from work today but it was in the back of my work van where I could not reach it!
So I'll have to describe what I saw.
An older man was driving a newer GMC Envoy.
On the rear and on both sides it had decals saying Envoy R/T
On the bottom of the front doors it said IL6 275HP under the R/T logo.
WTF??? I am pretty sure he had them stickers made. It wasn't a sh*tty job like some ghetto Mexican's did it, but it really didn't seem factory either.
I looked and didn't see a R/T model GMC Envoy on line. I know it stands for Road and Track, but I thought that was typically a Mopar thing but I don't know.
Anyway, was that bullsh*t?
Also it looks like the GMC version now has a V8 available too. I thought they only had the I4 and I5 like the trail Blazer counterpart. oh well. Lame anyway.

Oh, BTW they Do now have a V8 in the trail blazer too. 300HP 5.3
before I'd literally FLY by them I6 trail blazers. I'd be somewhat worried about a 5.3 which i'm surprised they went right up to that motor vs. using the 4.8

Thats gotta be some custom job, GM's performance thing has traditionally been the SS, and I cannot see them changing that anytime soon (especially to a Mopar theme). The 5.3 is now availible in the longer versions of the envoy/trailblazer.

Eh, maybe he had the 5.3 and was just playing a joke on some thinking he had a V6.
I put the lil' V6 emblems back on my 350 S-10 just to mess with people, back in those days most of the vehilces had quiet exhausts and a custom exhaust was dual turbo mufflers. He11, the only people who could recognize the V8 exhaust note were real gear heads.

I'm pretty sure it's someone's own BS package. I believe GM would be in legal trouble from DCX if they called one of their cars an R/T model.

I was pretty sure it was made by the woner or he owned a printing shop that made all the decals for buss vehicles or something.
The other funny thing is it had dual pipes coming out the rear. Duals on a I6, funny! I think that's lame even on a V8 if it's not TRUE duals from the headers back.
