Got a 2000 QC and my back drivers side window will no longer go down (all others are fine). Anyone know anything I should check before I take the door panel off?

If it is power..im assuming it is...hold the window button down while hitting pretty hard on the door panel. A lot of times the motor just sticks from not being used. If this doesnt work, pull the panel..GENTLY tap the motor with a hard object while holding the button down....if THIS doesnt work, buy a regulator asm. Hope this helps

There is a chance that there is too much friction between the window glass and the felt window channel.

In case the window is binding in the tracks, try opening the door, having someone press their hands towards each other from both sides of the glass, and then push down while someone else activates the "window down" switch or tries to crank the window crank.

If you can get the above to work, then try spraying silicone in the felt window channels.

Also, if you have power windows, are you sure that you are getting power to them? Check for blown fuses, and inspect any wiring you can see for obvious damage.
