I hit a big chunk of tire on the highway some time back, I finally got around to removing the bent support holding my running board on. It was very easy to remove since all of the bolts snapped when I tried to losen them. I have been contemplating removing the running boards for some time and took this opportunity to do just that and all of bolts with nuts snapped. Those that have had such accessories on their truck for a long time may want to check out the bolts. This makes me glad i never used the running boards expect to wash the top of the truck and windows besides being an aid to keep me from doing stupid off road stuff. Oh yeah, my truck is a '95 so i guess these bolts held on for 10 or 11 years.
