Message: yeah, he didn't get a ticket, the cop just told him that he could get rear-ended or cause an accident going that slow in a 65 mph zone with the traffic like it was, and that he should try to go at least 55. i didn't think they could write tickets for going under but i never knew if it were true or not. he was 17 at the time and doing 45 on the interstate with people doing around 80 passing him, so i guess the cop figured he found a stoner or something, but my friend was nice and normal and gave a pretty good excuse. i think he said something about his car acting up, cop must've believed it since he was in a ford ;-) (old beat up 89 mustang)

Message: Actually most places you can get a ticket for driving to slow it’s called “impeding traffic”. Technically you can get a ticket if you’re doing 55mph in a 55mph and everybody else around you is speeding.
I got stopped by a Trooper in NY for going to slow on highway, I was driving my brand new 04 Dakota home from dealer.
Go figure.
